The full garden

I bought the full garden, but it’s locked on a new phone

Open Settings › Full garden and tap Restore purchase. Use the same Apple ID or Google account you bought it with.

How do I get a refund?

Apple and Google handle payments, so refunds go through them. On iPhone, use reportaproblem.apple.com. On Android, see Google Play’s refund page. Plants and visitors you already have stay in your garden.

Weather and your garden

It’s raining outside, but not on my sill

Moonsill follows measured weather for an area about 10 km across: nearby airport reports, and satellite rain where there’s no airport close. A light or very local shower can miss the measurements. Check that Settings › Location shows your city.

How do I change my city?

Settings › Location. Type a city, or let Moonsill use your approximate location once.

Will my plants die if I don’t open the app?

No. Nothing in Moonsill ever dies. A missed week just means a thirsty garden.

The garden went quiet during a storm

That’s storm-calm. When there’s an official storm warning where you live, the garden rests, and wakes again after the warning lifts. It is a gentle mode, not a warning service: always follow your national weather service.

Widgets

How do I add a widget?

On iPhone, touch and hold an empty spot on your Home Screen, tap Edit, then Add Widget, and search for Moonsill. On Android, open Settings › Widgets in Moonsill and tap a widget to add it. The free garden has the “Your window” widget; the full garden opens all of them.

Friends

How do I add a friend?

Open Friends and share your friend code, or show its QR code for your friend to scan. Friends can send each other plants and notes picked from set lines. They never see where you live.

Your data

How do I delete my data?

Your garden lives only on your phone; deleting the app deletes it. To remove everything on our server, open Settings › Privacy & data › Delete my friend code and data. Our privacy policy has the details.
